ABOUT OUR CHAPTER

Who we are.

Alpha Omega Epsilon is a professional and social sorority for women in STEM majors at Kansas State University. Our international organization is built on the foundation of our three core values: friendship, leadership, and professionalism. Our chapter at K-State encourages our sisters to do their best to succeed academically and professionally, while adding onto the experience within Greek life and the K-State community.

While we are a member of the Panhellenic Council at K-State, we do not participate in primary recruitment and host our own recruitment events for two weeks. Through these two weeks, we hope to showcase to you our growing sisterhood, our social and professional sides, and our passion for service and promoting STEM.

The Beta Tau Chapter of Alpha Omega Epsilon was established on March 12, 2016 at Kansas State University. The charter members consisted of thirteen female engineering students. Since then, we have provided a sisterhood and support for over a hundred women in STEM majors at K-State. Our chapter includes women of both engineering and technical sciences, and we are now accepting all majors, and we are constantly growing in our sisterhood and involvement in the community. We are an associate member of the Panhellenic Council at Kansas State University, allowing us to become even more immersed in Greek life on campus. We participate in Homecoming and Greek Week, and in several events hosted by other fraternities and sororities. Our chapter also holds several events throughout the semester to enhance sisterhood, leadership and professionalism among our members.
